London's Orbital Comics has really started competing...expanding ever so fast this year with the opening of Orbital Manga and now Orbital Designer Toys.
Orbital Comics first opened its doors in 2001 in Old Compton Street. Some will remember it by it's huge Spiderman artistically drawn on the wall next to Orbital Comics basement door. In 2004 Orbital Comics moved to Charing Cross Road...still a basement shop but way bigger than the original and stocking much much more...from back issues, art books, graphic novels, independently published comics - and the staff who work there are experts in the comic field!
